The world’s best* recipe organizer

Save it from the scroll

Found dinner on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook or Pinterest? Tap Share, choose Crispify, and the post comes back as a proper recipe: ingredients, steps and servings, with a link back to the original post.

  • Recipe only in the voiceover? Crispify writes it up from what’s said in the video. Double-check the amounts, because chefs mumble.
  • Caption in another language? You get the recipe in English, and the dish keeps its real name.
  • Something off? Fix it before you hit Save.

Crispify importing a recipe: “Importing… Reading the caption…”

Got it on paper? Snap it.

  1. Import a photo

Take a picture of a cookbook page or a handwritten card, or grab a screenshot, then pick it in Crispify. It reads the recipe, handwriting included (mostly).

  2. Paste the text

From your notes, a message or a caption. Crispify sorts it into ingredients and steps.

  3. Write from scratch

Your recipe, your words. Typing it in yourself doesn’t use one of your imports.

Grocery lists, sorted by aisle

Tap the basket on any recipe and its ingredients go on your list, scaled to the servings you picked. Crispify sorts them into aisles like Produce, Meat & Seafood, Dairy & Eggs, Bakery, Pantry and Frozen, so you’re not doubling back for the garlic.

  • Tapped the basket twice? You won’t get doubles.
  • Need paper towels too? Add anything else you need, recipe or not.
  • Someone else is shopping? Share the list as a text.

Meal planning, minus the meeting

Drop recipes onto the days you’re cooking. Or tap Magic Meal Plan, and Crispify picks dinners for your week from your saved recipes and the Discover collection, based on your tastes and the days you cook. Not feeling them? Shuffle for a new set. Happy with the week? Send all of it to your grocery list.

My Meal Plan for the week, with breakfast, lunch and dinner recipes on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Magic Meal Plan: “Ta-da! Your week is ready”, with five dinners picked for Monday to Friday and a Shuffle dinners button.

Cook mode, one step at a time

Big text, one step per screen, and the ingredients a tap away. Your screen stays on, so no nose-tapping your phone with floury hands. Finish the dish and it goes into your cooking journal, streak and all.

Stuck for ideas? Discover.

There’s a new Recipe of the day every day, plus quick weeknight dinners and sweet treats to browse. They include published recipes from the USDA’s MyPlate Kitchen and the NIH’s Deliciously Healthy Eating. See one you like? Save it in a tap.

Crispify isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by the USDA or the NIH.

Questions? Answers.

Where can I save recipes from?

Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Pinterest and recipe websites. You can also import a photo (a cookbook page, a handwritten card, a screenshot), paste recipe text, or write a recipe from scratch.

Posts that are private or need a login can’t be read. If a video only says the recipe, Crispify writes it up from what’s spoken, so give the amounts a quick check.

Is Crispify free?

Yes, it’s free to download. A free account gets 5 recipe imports a month. An import that fails doesn’t count, and writing a recipe yourself or saving one from Discover never counts. The limit is counted per account and per iPhone, and it starts over at the beginning of each month.

Crispify+ gives you unlimited recipe imports. It’s $29.99 a year, starting with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers, or $4.99 a month. Those are US prices: the App Store shows the price where you live before you pay.

Is there an Android app, or can I use it on my computer?

No. Crispify is an iPhone app (iOS 18 or later). There’s no Android app or web version.

Do I need an account?

You can look around without one. To import recipes you need a free account: sign in with Apple, or with your email and a 6-digit code. Signing in also backs up your recipes, so they come with you when you sign in on another iPhone.

How do I cancel Crispify+?

On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Crispify. Cancel at least 24 hours before your free trial or current period ends and you won’t be charged for the next one. Deleting the app doesn’t cancel the subscription. More on the Support page.

What happens to the posts and photos I import?

To turn a post, photo or text into a recipe, Crispify sends it to the AI services we use: Anthropic’s Claude, and Cloudflare for turning a video’s speech into text. They use it to make your recipe. AI can get things wrong, so check amounts, allergens and cooking temperatures before you cook. The details are in our Privacy Policy.

What about the creators whose recipes I save?

Recipes you import from a post keep a link to the original post and, where the post shows it, the creator’s handle. Go and give them a follow. They cooked it first.

Is it really the world’s best recipe organizer?

According to our founding team, yes. Science hasn’t weighed in yet. Try it free and decide for yourself.
